How to Import and Export Presets in MetaImage?

MetaImage lets you import and export your presets, making it easy to back them up or transfer them from one Mac to another.

Here's how to import or export your MetaImage presets in just a few steps.

Open the Presets Manager in MetaImage

First, open MetaImage on your Mac.

From the main menu bar, open the Presets Manager. This window lets you manage your existing presets as well as import and export them.

Export Your MetaImage Presets

In the Presets Manager, click the Import/Export button in the toolbar and choose the export option.

Select where you want to save the file. MetaImage exports your presets as a JSON file, which you can keep as a backup or transfer to another Mac.

Import Presets into MetaImage

To import previously exported presets, open the Presets Manager and click the Import/Export button again.

Choose the import option and select your MetaImage JSON preset file.

Your imported presets will then be available in MetaImage.

Transfer MetaImage Presets to Another Mac

To move your presets to a new Mac:

1. Export your presets from MetaImage on your current Mac.
2. Transfer the exported JSON file to your new Mac.
3. Open MetaImage on the new Mac.
4. Open the Presets Manager and import the JSON file.
